This notice explains how The BA Database collects, uses, shares, and protects information when ambassadors create profiles and agencies use the service.
Information we collect
We collect account information, contact details, general location, experience, skills, availability, profile text, photos or videos you choose to upload, communication preferences, and service activity such as contact requests and profile access.
How we use it
We use information to operate and secure accounts, build profiles, match ambassadors with opportunities, let verified agencies discover suitable talent, process authorized contact requests, send service messages, prevent abuse, and send optional updates when you choose them. If your profile is incomplete, we may send a limited series of email reminders explaining what remains and how completion affects profile visibility and opportunity access. Profile and contact sharing
Your visibility setting controls whether verified agencies can discover your profile. Email, phone number, and social contact details are not intended to be released without the permission workflow described in the service. You can hide your profile or change optional communication preferences at any time.
Service providers and transfers
We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, email delivery, monitoring, and support. Information may be processed outside your province or country and may be subject to laws in those locations. The production policy should name material provider categories and processing locations.
Retention and safeguards
We retain personal information only while needed for the stated purposes, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security. We use access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Your choices and rights
You may access or correct your profile, hide it, withdraw optional consent, unsubscribe from optional email, and request account deletion. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary for security and dispute resolution.
